Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Cedar Lake, Indiana area. This position will involve working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade across multiple school buildings. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential by providing high-quality speech and language services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
For SLP:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure in Indiana or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
For SLPA:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Current state certification or licensure in Indiana as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Skills and Attributes:

- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites
