Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who want to work with smaller communities! Soliant has partnered with a school in Barstow, CA, and is seeking contract applicants for the 25-26 school year.

Requirements:
  • Both ASHA-Certified candidates and Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Candidates must have either a California SLP license or a Clinical and Rehabilitative Services credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
  • Prior schools experience strongly preferred
Pay and Benefits:
  • Hourly W2 pay of $48 to $65/hr, dependent on experience
  • Health, vision and dental insurance
  • Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting, clinicians will:
  • Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
  • Updating progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
  • Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
  • Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
  • Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings
  • In some cases, SLPs may be called upon to supervise Clinical Fellows, student interns (at both the graduate and undergraduate level), and SLPAs
