Student Profile
- K-12 students across multiple school buildings
- Students requiring:
- Initial evaluations for special education eligibility
- Re-evaluations for continuing services
- Specialized cognitive and academic assessments
- Social-emotional and behavioral evaluations
- Caseload varies based on assessment complexity and district needs
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations via virtual platform
- Administer and interpret standardized cognitive and achievement tests
- Complete social-emotional and behavioral assessments
- Write detailed psychological reports for eligibility determination
- Present evaluation findings at virtual meetings
- Consult with teachers and parents regarding intervention strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on educational planning
- Develop behavior intervention plans when needed
- Maintain compliance with special education timelines
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license
- Minimum of 2 years of school-based experience
- Proficiency with standardized assessment administration
- Experience with virtual assessment procedures preferred
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Private workspace that ensures confidentiality and test security
- Reliable computer with webcam capability
- High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)
- Familiarity with secure video conferencing platforms
- Experience with digital assessment tools
- Ability to maintain test security in a virtual environment
