School Based Physical Therapist (PT) - Full Time

Job Overview:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist for a full-time position in Oakley, CA. This role involves providing physical therapy services within a school setting, helping students achieve their physical goals and enhance their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage individualized physical therapy programs for students with diverse needs.
• Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to create and execute effective therapy plans.
• Perform evaluations and track student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as required.
• Educate and guide students, families, and staff on physical therapy techniques and interventions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals and accommodations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapist licensure in California or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
