Assistive Technology Specialist for Physical Therapist needed near Houston, Texas

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistive Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Assistive Technology Specialist, you will work closely with our physical therapists and patients to assess, implement, and optimize assistive technologies to improve the mobility and independence of our patients. This is a full-time position that offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with physical disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physical therapists to identify patients who could benefit from assistive technology devices and solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs, abilities, and goals to determine the most appropriate assistive technologies.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend assistive technology tools, equipment, and devices to enhance patients' mobility, function, and independence.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of a wide range of assistive technology devices, equipment, and software used in physical therapy.
