Physical Therapist (PT) - School-Based in Baltimore, MD

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based position in Baltimore, MD. This is a wonderful opportunity to support students in developing physical skills to aid in their academic performance and overall well-being.

Job Details:

• Position Type: Full-time or Part-time (based on candidate preference)
• Location: Baltimore, MD
• Caseload: PreK-12th grade students (specific details to be discussed during the interview)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to assess students' physical needs and abilities in the educational environment.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet students' physical therapy goals.
• Provide direct therapy for students to address mobility, coordination, strength, and endurance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a supportive and effective therapy plan.
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.

Requirements:

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland PT license (or eligibility to obtain before the start date).
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
