School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) Near Colorado Springs, CO

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a dynamic school team near Colorado Springs, CO. In this school-based role, you’ll work directly with students to help them develop the skills necessary for academic success and independence in their daily activities. Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) to address specific needs.

• Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students’ needs are met.

• Document student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.

• Participate in IEP meetings and offer insights into student development and support.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

• Colorado Occupational Therapy license or eligibility.

• Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Passion for helping students build essential life skills and succeed academically.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
