COTA – School-Based Setting in Newport, TN

Soliant Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a full-time position in a school-based setting in Newport. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized therapy plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct therapy services to students based on their educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support students’ progress
• Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
• Modify activities to ensure students’ participation and success in the classroom
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and adjustments to therapy plans
• Support students with sensory, fine motor, and self-care skills

Qualifications:

• Active COTA license in TN
• Experience in school-based settings preferred but not required
