About the Position
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and provide essential therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, student-focused environment, helping children build the skills they need for success in school and daily life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist (OT) in delivering therapy services to students with diverse needs.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success.
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
  • Current Texas state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred but not required.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn about diverse student needs.
  • Proficiency in technology for documentation and virtual therapy when necessary.
