Now Hiring: School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Full-Time | Morganton, NC area

Are you a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? We’re seeking a dedicated and skilled RBT to provide 1:1 support to a student in a self-contained classroom. If you have experience with sensory regulation, academic support, and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, we want to hear from you!

Position Details:

• Position Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
• Caseload: 1:1 student support in a self-contained setting
• Pay Range: $20–$27/hr (Based on experience and qualifications)
• Location: Morganton, NC area

What You'll Do:

• Work 1:1 with a student to provide behavioral and academic support.
• Implement sensory regulation strategies to help the student stay engaged in learning.
• Assist with communication through AAC devices and other assistive technology.
• Reinforce positive behaviors using evidence-based ABA techniques.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure student progress.
• Track and document student behavior and learning milestones.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification through the BACB (Required).
• Experience supporting students with sensory processing needs, AAC devices, and academic interventions (Preferred).
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow behavior plans and work as part of a school-based team.
