Location: Near Nutley Township, New Jersey
Hourly Rate: Up to $58/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Required Qualifications: Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field, Valid New Jersey School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.
About the Position:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to join a supportive team in a school district near Nutley Township, NJ. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention plans.
- Provide counseling services to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve classroom behavior and support academic success.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
Pay & Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: Up to $58/hour (based on experience and qualifications).
