Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join our team in Chicago, IL. This role offers an opportunity to empower students with diverse learning needs, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs and goals.
• Adapt instructional methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates to parents and the IEP team.
• Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment that promotes engagement and confidence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Illinois teaching certification with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
