Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Teletherapy with VocoVision

Location: Fully Remote, Service to School District in Washington

Position Type: Full-time or Part-time Contract (1099)

Assignment Dates: September 2024 - December 2024

Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a flexible and impactful role in the educational sector? Soliant is seeking a skilled School-Based SLP to join our team as a 1099 Contractor with VocoVision, a leader in teletherapy services. This fully remote position offers you the opportunity to work within a great school district based in Washington state while providing essential speech-language therapy services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teletherapy services to students in K-12 settings, addressing a range of speech and language disorders.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and create individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Develop and implement effective therapy strategies and interventions tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, student progress, and IEP documentation.
  • Stay current with educational and therapeutic best practices, including developments in teletherapy.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Washington.
  • Prior experience working in a school setting required.
  • ASHA Certification required.
  • Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and related technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and collaborate with educational staff effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload independently.
