Full Time Inpatient Pharmacist - West Plains, MO

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced and well-rounded hospital pharmacist for a travel assignment in West Plains, Missouri. Position Details:

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 13 weeks with potential for extension

• Schedule: 4x10s day shifts per week

• Setting: 100-bed community hospital

Responsibilities:

• Perform traditional inpatient staffing duties including order verification, medication dispensing, and clinical support

• Collaborate directly with the Director of Pharmacy on departmental projects and process improvements

• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication management and distribution

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as internal hospital policies

• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to provide safe and accurate pharmaceutical care

• Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety across all pharmacy operations

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Missouri (or eligibility to obtain quickly)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience

• Proficiency with Meditech and Pyxis systems

• Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage both clinical and administrative tasks

• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
