Full Time Inpatient/Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist - Tuba City, AZ

Soliant Health is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Clinical Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Tuba City, Arizona. This unique opportunity combines both inpatient and outpatient clinical pharmacy practice, allowing you to provide comprehensive medication management and direct patient care across multiple departments and clinic settings. Position Details:

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (rotational shifts may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including neo-natal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric care

• Float between the main campus and satellite clinics to ensure consistent pharmaceutical care

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and formulary adherence

• Offer clinical consultations and medication therapy management to physicians and other healthcare professionals

• Oversee dispensing processes and ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital standards

• Supervise and provide leadership to pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in the development of pharmacy programs that enhance patient outcomes

• Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations, contributing to both administrative and clinical pharmacy responsibilities

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited school recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education

• Active and unrestricted pharmacy license in any U.S. state or territory

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist

• At least 1 year of recent clinical pharmacist experience in a hospital or ambulatory care setting

• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work rotational shifts as needed

• Fingerprinting clearance must be obtained before start

• Must be fully COVID vaccinated or have an approved medical exemption (religious exemptions not accepted)

• Housing: Shared apartments typically available ($600–$900/month); single units based on availability. Housing applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to start

• Transportation is required due to the location and lack of alternative housing within reasonable distance

• Orientation takes place biweekly
