This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of transitioning to a direct hire role, based on performance and the needs of the organization. Job Title: Staff Pharmacist - Sterile Compounding | Home Infusion | 13-Week Contract (with potential for Direct Hire)
Location: Oklahoma
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Rotating On-Call Weekends and Weekdays)
Duration: 13-Week Contract with Opportunity for Direct Hire
Key Responsibilities:

Sterile Compounding: Prepare and compound sterile medications such as IVs, TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition), and other infusion therapies while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Medication Management: Dispense and provide pharmaceutical care for patients receiving home infusion therapies. Ensure all medications are accurately dispensed and safe for patient use.

Patient Safety & Education: Educate patients and caregivers about the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and the importance of adhering to prescribed treatments.

Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a smooth delivery of care in the home infusion setting.

Regulatory Compliance: Follow all federal and state regulations, including USP 797 (compounding regulations) and other industry standards, ensuring the highest level of compliance in sterile compounding practices.

On-Call Duties: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, which includes availability for weekend and weekday coverage as needed. Be responsive to urgent medication needs and provide timely solutions.

Required Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience, specifically in home infusion or inpatient hospital pharmacy.

Ability to handle complex pharmaceutical tasks, including sterile compounding, with precision and attention to detail.

Active Oklahoma Pharmacy License required (must be in good standing).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in sterile compounding (such as IV medications, TPN, chemotherapy, etc.) is preferred, but candidates with strong home infusion or inpatient hospital experience without sterile compounding experience will still be considered.
Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients and work effectively with a diverse healthcare team.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
