Full Time Inpatient Pharmacist - Scranton, PA

Position Overview:

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for temp-to-hire)

• Schedule: Evening shifts available – 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend required

Responsibilities:

• Verify physician orders accurately and efficiently

• Provide expert pharmacokinetic consultations and monitor drug therapies

• Collaborate directly with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians

• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania (PA) pharmacist license

• Minimum of 3 years of recent hospital inpatient experience

• Strong background in pharmacokinetics and clinical consultation

• Proven ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
