Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - San Diego, CA

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Per Diem Retail Pharmacist to support a well-respected FQHC in the San Diego, CA area. This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist looking for flexible, as-needed work during the summer months and potentially beyond. Position Overview:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Start Date: As needed (to cover PTO during summer and possibly beyond)
• Setting: Community Health / Outpatient Retail Pharmacy

Responsibilities:

• Perform standard retail pharmacist duties, including dispensing medications, patient consultations, and supervising pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care and medication management
• Uphold all state and federal pharmacy regulations and guidelines
• Navigate and utilize DataScan pharmacy software system with proficiency

Requirements:

• Active California Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively serve the patient population
• Proficient in the use of DataScan or similar pharmacy software systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
