Experienced Hospital Pharmacists Needed – 13-Week Contract | New Jersey
Are you a seasoned hospital pharmacist ready for your next fast-paced, rewarding assignment? We're urgently hiring Inpatient/IV Pharmacists and Medication Reconciliation Pharmacists for a 13-week contract at a highly respected hospital in New Jersey.
Schedule: Day Shifts | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Weekend rotation required

Open Roles & Responsibilities

IV Pharmacist

• Perform sterile compounding in compliance with USP 797/800 standards

• Prepare, verify, and check IV medications

• Ensure strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety procedures

• Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Medication Reconciliation Pharmacist

• Work directly in the Emergency Department to gather accurate patient medication histories

• Document and verify medication information for continuity of care

• Engage with patients, caregivers, and providers to clarify prescriptions

• Identify and address potential drug interactions or discrepancies

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Pharmacist License (must be current and in-hand)

• Recent hospital pharmacy experience is required

• IV Pharmacists: Strong background in IV compounding, USP 797/800, and med verification

• Med Rec Pharmacists: Direct experience performing medication reconciliations in emergency or acute care settings

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment

• Full-time availability and readiness to start immediately
