Outpatient Pharmacist (Part-Time) - Direct-Hire - Oneonta, NY

A well-established healthcare organization in Oneonta, NY is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Pharmacist to join their outpatient pharmacy team. In this role, you will provide pharmacy services to outpatient clients while floating between different locations within the facility. With a supportive leadership team and a tenured staff, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with full tech support for all outpatient clients. Job Title: Part-Time Pharmacist
Location: Oneonta, NY
Hours: 24 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Type: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical services for outpatient clients, including dispensing medications and counseling patients on their use.

• Float to different locations under the facility, ensuring consistent, high-quality service.

• Review prescriptions and ensure they are accurate, safe, and meet regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy management for patients.

• Offer professional advice on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication use.

• Work closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain an efficient, organized pharmacy environment.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of New York.

• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills, with a focus on patient care and customer service.

• Experience working with a variety of pharmacy technologies and systems.

• Knowledge of inpatient hospital pharmacy operations a plus, but not required.
