Position Overview
Title: Pharmacist | Home Infusion Setting | Nashville, TN | 13–16 Week Contract
Step into a highly respected home infusion pharmacy team, delivering critical care to patients in a supportive, collaborative environment. We're seeking a dedicated pharmacist to cover a maternity leave at a national infusion organization based in Nashville, TN. If you have clinical focus, precision, and are comfortable rotating shifts, this is your chance to make a direct impact.

• Job Type: Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage)

• Location: Nashville, TN area

• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (some 9:30 AM–6:00 PM on-call rotation)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Duration: 13–16 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescription orders; ensure accuracy and compliance with all pharmacy laws

• Perform final checks before dispensing and manage medication assessments with medical histories

• Respond to drug inquiries from internal and external healthcare professionals

• Interpret laboratory data and apply therapeutic drug monitoring when appropriate

• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Director or PIC to uphold regulatory and procedural standards

• Support pharmacy operations with cost-effective solutions and clinical oversight

• Take part in on-call rotation and serve as a temporary lead when PIC is unavailable

• Maintain and uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist license in good standing

• Prior experience in home infusion or specialty pharmacy preferred

• Strong computer literacy and comfort using pharmacy software

• Willingness to rotate shifts and participate in call coverage as needed
