Staff Pharmacist Job - Nashville TN

Job Opportunity: Staff Pharmacist (Direct Hire!)

Soliant is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a Direct Hire opportunity. This role involves reviewing and approving prescriptions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve prescriptions per State Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Conduct Medication Assessments using patient medical information
• Perform final checks on filled prescriptions for accuracy and timely delivery
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding controlled substances and legend drugs
• Work with pharmacy leadership to implement quality and cost-containment strategies
• Provide clinical expertise by responding to drug-related questions from internal and external customers
• Assess laboratory data and therapeutic drug ranges
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed
• Complete annual competency verification to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
• On-Call Availability when needed, including acting as Pharmacy Leader in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active Pharmacist License with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-pressure setting
