Retail Pharmacist Job Jacksonville, FL

Make a meaningful impact this summer! Join a respected community health pharmacy in Jacksonville, FL, providing essential care to the HIV/AIDS community. We seek a reliable and proactive Pharmacist for a maternity leave contract (16-18 weeks).

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Friday 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions in a patient-focused retail setting.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and daily operations.
• Provide thorough patient consultations and medication counseling.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers.
• Proactively identify and address pharmacy needs.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and accurate records.
• Utilize the QS1 system (training provided).

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Pharmacist License (Required).
• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience (Required).
• Proven experience with HIV/AIDS medications (Required - must be on résumé).
• Familiarity with or quick aptitude for QS1 software.
• Strong professional demeanor and dedication to patient care.
