A long-term care pharmacy in Indianapolis is actively seeking a motivated and reliable pharmacist to join their team. This position offers a chance to work in a closed-door setting focused on serving long-term care facilities, with a structured schedule and an immediate start. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy, collaboration, and quality care.

Job Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Location: Indianapolis, IN

  • Setting: Closed-door pharmacy serving long-term care patients

  • Shift Hours: 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday

  • Weekends: Every 3rd weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Duration: Long-term, ongoing opportunity

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify medication orders with attention to accuracy and compliance

  • Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure timely and safe dispensing

  • Monitor drug therapies, provide consultation to healthcare providers when needed

  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as internal pharmacy protocols

  • Assist with clinical and operational duties related to long-term care pharmacy services

Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana Pharmacist license in good standing

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Open to new graduates and pharmacists with retail backgrounds – training provided!

  • Prior experience in long-term care or closed-door pharmacy is a plus but not required

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and participate in weekend rotations
