Full-Time Hospital Night Pharmacist - Gastonia, NC

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Hospital Pharmacist for a night shift position in Gastonia, NC, just outside of Charlotte. If you have experience in the emergency department and are looking to work in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Position Details:

• Location: Gastonia, NC 
• Setting: Hospital
• Schedule: Night Shift, 12 hours (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• 7 days on, 7 days off, with every other weekend required

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension or temp-to-hire As a Hospital Night Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Emergency Department (ED) team, ensuring fast and accurate medication distribution in this busy department.
  Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and verifying medication orders in the ED
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
  • Providing consultation on pharmacotherapy and drug interactions
  • Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety measures
  • Assisting in maintaining quality measures for pharmacy services
  Requirements:
  • Required: Active North Carolina Pharmacy License
  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department pharmacy experience
  • Required: Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Required: Strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology, procedures, and policies
  • Required: Ability to effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-pressure environment
  • Preferred: Prior experience working in a busy hospital or emergency department setting
