Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and driven Pharmacist for an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to elevate into a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) role in the Fort Lauderdale area. This is a fast-moving position in a high-volume, specialty retail setting, focused on delivering life-changing care to an HIV/AIDS patient population. Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM (No weekends)

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Type: Contract-to-hire (13 weeks with the intention of permanent hire and elevation to PIC)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense and manage specialty HIV/AIDS medications in a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborate closely with providers and patients to ensure top-tier pharmaceutical care

  • Provide respectful, empathetic, and non-judgmental care to a sensitive patient population

  • Assist with supervisory and leadership duties with the goal of transitioning into a PIC role

  • Communicate and coordinate with pharmacy technicians and support staff

  • Actively fill pharmacy operational needs, demonstrating strong intuition and initiative

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail or specialty pharmacy with direct exposure to HIV/AIDS medications

  • Prior supervisory or management experience

  • Strong software proficiency; must be comfortable with QS1

  • High-level communication skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and internal teams

  • Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and daily attendance

  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume pharmacy setting and work well under pressure

  • Strong sense of teamwork and proactive attitude in handling day-to-day operations

  • Must demonstrate deep empathy, professionalism, and respect for patients managing infectious diseases
