FT Fulfillment Pharmacist (Mail-Order Pharmacy) - Southgate, KY

We are seeking a Full-Time Fulfillment Pharmacist to join a high-volume digital/mail order pharmacy team in Southgate, KY. This role involves dispensing non-insurance medications, mainly generics with some brand and specialty medications. The pharmacy processes over 4,500 prescriptions per day, serving all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Type: 13-Week Contract-to-Hire, Possible Direct Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Monday - Friday (Day Shift), Weekend Rotation (Site operates Mon-Fri 7 AM - 7 PM, Sat-Sun 11 AM - 5 PM)

This position is a 13-week contract-to-hire with the possibility of becoming a direct hire after the contract period. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting and a proven ability to quickly adapt to new workflows and processes. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment, including supervising pharmacy technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full cycle of pharmacy dispensing, including checking and verifying prescriptions.

• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing.

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations for all prescriptions dispensed.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide leadership and work collaboratively with team members to manage high prescription volumes.

• Handle medications from the point of receiving the prescription to final packaging for shipment.

• Maintain pharmacy records in accordance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• KY Pharmacy License required (Please confirm with Cincinnati, OH pharmacists if they are also licensed in KY).

• High-volume retail pharmacy experience is highly preferred.

• Experience in mail order or digital pharmacy dispensing is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of a team.

• Ability to quickly adapt to the workflow and fast-paced environment.

• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to collaborate in a high-volume setting.
