Location: Chicago, IL Area

Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shifts (Monday-Friday, No Weekends)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Length: 13+ Weeks

Your Impact:

  • Accurately verify and process chemotherapy and supportive care medication orders.
  • Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in the preparation of infusion medications.
  • Collaborate closely with oncologists, nurses, and care teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to all oncology safety guidelines and USP standards.
  • Utilize EPIC and Pyxis for efficient patient and medication management.

We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in outpatient infusion and chemotherapy workflows.
  • Confidence in verifying complex oncology regimens and managing IV admixture.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • A desire to transition into a permanent position after the initial contract.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Pharmacist License (Required).
  • Recent and relevant experience in chemotherapy/oncology pharmacy (Required).
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Pyxis systems (Preferred).
  • Prior experience in a hospital or infusion center setting (Highly Preferred).
