  • Job Type: 13-Week Contract (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)

  • Location: Chicago, IL area

  • Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shifts (M–F, No Weekends)

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Contract Duration: 13+ Weeks


Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and process chemotherapy and supportive care orders with precision

  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians preparing infusion medications

  • Collaborate directly with oncologists, nurses, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes

  • Maintain compliance with oncology safety protocols and USP standards

  • Utilize EPIC and Pyxis for streamlined patient and medication tracking


Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced in outpatient infusion and chemotherapy workflow

  • Confident in verifying oncology regimens and managing IV admixture prep

  • Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced clinical setting

  • Interested in converting to permanent after the contract


Job Requirements

  • Active Illinois Pharmacist License (Required)

  • Recent experience with chemotherapy/oncology pharmacy (Required)

  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Pyxis (Preferred)

  • Hospital or infusion center background highly preferred
