Full Time Chemo Pharmacist - Chicago, IL

Soliant Health is seeking a highly motivated Chemo Pharmacist for a 13+ week assignment at a premier academic medical center in Chicago, IL. This opportunity is based in the Outpatient Infusion Pharmacy of a major teaching hospital—an excellent chance to gain valuable experience with one of the top health systems in the region. Candidates with a strong clinical background and oncology experience are encouraged to apply.
Assignment Details:

• Setting: Outpatient Infusion Pharmacy
• Location: Chicago, IL
• Schedule: Day shifts, Monday – Friday
• Duration: 13 weeks or longer
  (Temp-to-hire potential for the right candidate)
• Start Date: ASAP

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification and ensure accuracy of chemotherapy and supportive medications
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure proper sterile preparation of oncology medications
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide clinical guidance and patient-specific recommendations
• Monitor therapeutic regimens and assist in the management of oncology patients
• Utilize EPIC for electronic health records and Pyxis for medication dispensing

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License (unrestricted)
• Recent experience with chemotherapy/oncology medications required
• Prior work in a hospital or outpatient infusion setting preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
