Key Responsibilities:
- Perform typical retail and long-term care pharmacy duties, including medication dispensing and patient assistance
- Accurately enter prescription data into pharmacy systems
- Ensure all medications are properly prepared and labeled for distribution
- Manage inventory and stock medications as needed
- Assist pharmacists with any additional tasks or duties as required
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
- Active and valid Pharmacy Technician license in Virginia is required
- Recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or long-term care setting is required
- PTCB certification is preferred, but not required for this position
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available for an in-person interview or automatic offer upon meeting the qualifications
