Job Duties:
- Ensure compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> guidelines in non-sterile and sterile compounding practices.
- Accurately read and interpret prescriptions and enter orders into the pharmacy system.
- Prepare and compound medications following established formulations and processes under pharmacist supervision.
- Assist in preparing correct formula log sheets and ensure proper documentation for compliance.
- Accurately measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications.
- Manage inventory by maintaining adequate stock levels of ingredients, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with batch compounding, product labeling, and verification of log entries.
- Ensure timely fulfillment and preparation of compounded prescriptions for shipping or patient pickup.
- Maintain accurate records of all compounded products and perform proper documentation of work performed.
- Monday-Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm OR 3:00pm - 11:30pm
- Rotating Saturday and Sunday shifts required (schedule may consist of either Saturday or Sunday ongoing)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Pharmacy Technician experience
- Experience with non-sterile or sterile compounding (required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict compliance guidelines
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage inventory effectively
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Attendance is crucial to the success of this role, so reliable punctuality is essential
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification
- Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License (preferred but not required)
