We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to join a reputable hospital in the heart of Denver, CO. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable hospital experience while working in one of the most vibrant cities in the country.

Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 36–40 hours/week
Shifts: 10-hour shifts on weekdays, 6-hour shifts on weekends
Position Overview:
As a key member of the inpatient pharmacy team, the Travel Pharmacy Technician will contribute to daily operations that ensure the accurate and timely delivery of medications. This role requires precision, accountability, and a strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and compound IV admixtures in accordance with USP 797 standards

Restock and manage inventory in automated dispensing cabinets (Pyxis)

Answer and triage incoming calls to the pharmacy

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Support pharmacists in medication dispensing and documentation

Ensure compliance with all hospital, state, and federal pharmacy regulations
Candidate Requirements:

Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician License (required)

Minimum of one year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience

Proficient with IV room procedures and Pyxis or similar automated systems

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
