Full-Time Retail Pharmacy Manager - Seymour, CT

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Pharmacy Manager for a full-time contract-to-hire opportunity in Seymour, CT. This position is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with a strong background in pharmacy operations, patient care, and staff leadership.

Position Details:

• Term: 13-week contract-to-hire

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts

• Pharmacy Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (rotating weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including workflow and staff supervision

• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures

• Provide direct patient care, including consultations, medication therapy management, and health screenings

• Maintain inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels of medications and supplies

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens and improve outcomes

• Train and mentor pharmacy staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

• Address patient inquiries regarding medications, potential interactions, and health concerns

• Implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and enhance pharmacy performance

Requirements:

• Active and clear Connecticut Pharmacist License

• PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited institution

• Retail pharmacy experience required, with prior management or supervisory experience

• Strong patient care skills with a focus on personalized service

• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacy operations, and inventory management

• Familiarity with pain management protocols beneficial but not required

• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage staff and engage with patients and healthcare providers
