Apply NowWe are currently seeking a dedicated Travel Pharmacist for an exciting opportunity at a 100-bed community hospital in Missouri. This position offers a 13-week contract with the potential for extension. Start ASAP and make a significant impact while working in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Position Overview: As a Travel Pharmacist, you will split your time equally between staffing duties and working on important projects alongside the Director of Pharmacy (DOP). This role offers a chance to contribute to the success of a well-established healthcare system, while utilizing your expertise in both operational and clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:

Staffing (50% of time): Provide inpatient pharmacy services, including order verification, medication dispensing, and supporting pharmacy technicians.

Pharmacy Projects (50% of time): Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy on various ongoing projects, optimizing pharmacy operations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure proper medication management practices are followed according to hospital protocols and guidelines.

Work with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Days: 4 ten-hour shifts per week

Duration: 13 weeks with the potential to extend

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in Missouri
-
Meditech and Pyxis experience preferred
-
At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience, inpatient experience preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Strong communication skills and attention to detail
