7-On/7-Off Clinical Pharmacist - Santa Monica, CA

Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Night Shift Hospital Pharmacist to join our team for an exciting contract opportunity in Santa Monica, CA. This is a full-time position with an immediate start date, offering a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment. Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Assignment Length: 12+ weeks

• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off

• Shift Hours: 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM (10-hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently

• Supervise pharmacy technicians during night shift operations

• Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments

• Consult and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapies

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Utilize EPIC for order management and documentation

• Operate and manage Pyxis automated dispensing systems

• Support clinical initiatives and promote safe, effective medication use across all departments

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted California Pharmacist License required

• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacist experience required

• Strong proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred

• Expertise in pharmacokinetics, clinical consultations, and hospital-based pharmacy operations required

• Ability to thrive in an overnight setting and maintain focus during night shifts

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with medical teams

• Commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality patient care
