Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
• Valid Illinois teaching certification in Physical Education
• Previous experience working with children in a school setting is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to create an inclusive and engaging environment for all students

State-Specific Requirements:

• Must have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Physical Education
• Fingerprint background check and Illinois State Police clearance required

Job Details:

• Contract position for the 2024-2025 school year
• Full-time position, Monday-Friday
• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
