Part-Time Occupational Therapist (PreK-8th Grade Caseload)

Employment Type: Part-Time (2-3 days per week, preferably Tuesday through Thursday)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in grades PreK-8th and be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. This role involves working 2-3 days per week, with a preference for availability on Tuesdays through Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy services to a diverse caseload of students from PreK to 8th grade
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students’ needs in the classroom and at home

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid IL Occupational Therapist license
