Location: Near Woodbury, Minnesota
Hourly Rate: Up to $28/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree or higher preferred, Experience working with children in an educational or behavioral setting is preferred, but not required.
About the Position:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join a supportive team in a school district near Woodbury, MN. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to provide academic support, manage classroom behavior, and assist students with special needs to ensure they have a positive and productive learning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in providing individualized support to students, including those with special needs.
- Support classroom management and help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students based on their individualized needs.
- Assist with the implementation of behavior intervention plans and individualized learning strategies.
- Help students with daily tasks, such as transitions, organization, and socialization.
- Monitor student progress and assist with documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with children and helping them succeed academically and socially.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar role is a plus.
Pay & Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: Up to $28/hour (based on experience and qualifications).
