Pay Scale: $18.00-24.00 per Hour 

Caseload(s): Grades 9-12, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) classroom 

 

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team near Eagan, MN for the 2024-2025 school year. The district we are working with has openings available in a high school setting. If you are passionate about supporting students with special needs, we encourage you to apply!
 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Valid Minnesota paraprofessional certification and/or at least 60 credit hours toward a college degree 
  • Experience with students who have special needs, specifically those with developmental coordination disorders, required 
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in working with children
  • Must be comfortable with toileting/restroom assistance 


Job Details:

  • Assist special education teachers in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support students in developing academic and social skills
  • Monitor and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
