Occupational Therapist (OT)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based team in Tacoma, WA. This position offers the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds, providing essential occupational therapy services that help them succeed academically and personally. As an OT, you will conduct assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory, and functional needs, develop individualized plans such as IEPs and 504s, and deliver therapy services both individually and in groups. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff will be key to ensuring students can fully participate in school activities, from classroom tasks to social interactions. You’ll also provide strategies and accommodations to improve students' functional independence and help them access the curriculum effectively.
The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a current Washington State OT license. While experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred, we are looking for someone with strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills to thrive in this role.
