Travel Med Surg RN – 13-Week Contract Opportunity in Augusta, GA

Join an esteemed healthcare team in Augusta, GA (30901), as a Med Surg RN for an exciting 13-week travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for nurses looking to provide exceptional care in a dynamic medical-surgical environment.

Job Details:

• Unit: Medical Surgical Unit with remote telemetry monitoring.
• Patient Population: Adolescents to geriatrics with varied medical-surgical diagnoses.
• Ratio/Census: 1:6, with a 38-bed unit and an average daily census of 33.

Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year (1st timers are accepted).
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
• Systems: Epic (required for charting), Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework.

Additional Information:

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
• RTO (Requested Time Off): Maximum of 7 days allowed.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend.
• Floating: Required within similar units.
• Call Requirements: None.
