Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Newburgh, IN. This position involves caring for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions in a fast-paced stepdown unit.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patients transitioning from critical care, including those with cardiac conditions requiring continuous assessment.

• Administer medications, perform cardiac monitoring, and respond to changes in patient conditions.

• Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

• Educate patients and families on post-hospital care, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures to maintain patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Active Indiana RN license required.

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

• Minimum of two years of stepdown or progressive care experience preferred.

• Strong cardiac monitoring skills and experience with telemetry patients.

• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
