Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.
• Provide direct instruction and support in various academic subjects, social skills, and life skills.
• Implement behavioral management strategies and support students in developing positive social interactions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student support and progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid California teaching credential in Special Education is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, special education laws, and evidence-based instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
