Job Description:
Soliant Health is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Newark, DE. In this role, you will assist a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing therapy services to students with communication disorders. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' speech and language development, working directly with them to implement therapeutic activities and track progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver therapy services.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders.
• Provide direct therapy to students, following treatment plans developed by the SLP.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
• Current SLPA licensure in Delaware.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
