Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a fulfilling role in Cincinnati, OH. This position is perfect for a nurse who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit and is looking for a supportive team environment.

Job Overview:

As a Med Surg RN in Cincinnati, you will be responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and quality care to patients recovering from various surgeries and dealing with a wide range of medical conditions. This role provides an excellent opportunity for RNs to use and expand their clinical skills in a structured hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, monitor IVs, and document care in alignment with standards and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to infection-control standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Active RN license in Ohio or a compact license.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med Surg or similar acute care setting is highly preferred.

Schedule Notes:

• Shift: Day Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: No holidays
