Job Overview:

As a Med Surg RN in Kearney, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients on the medical-surgical unit. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Start Date: 11/18/2024
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Number of Positions: Multiple
• Shift: 0600-1830 or 1800-0630
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients, including assessments, medication administration, and development of care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and implement changes as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Nebraska or compact license.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience preferred.
