Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) RN for a travel assignment in Montgomery, AL. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your career while working with a leading healthcare team in a dynamic IR unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist in procedures such as angiograms, catheter placements, biopsies, and embolizations.
• Monitor sedation levels, vital signs, and patient responses during procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Alabama or Compact State).
• Minimum of 2 years of IR or critical care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of vascular access procedures, sedation management, and emergency response.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
