Position Overview:
A leading healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team. This position offers an opportunity to provide top-quality care in a state-of-the-art operating room while working with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all required equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to deliver safe and efficient patient care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout surgical procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
• Assist in surgical procedures, including positioning and prepping patients.
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
• Provide patient education and emotional support before and after surgeries.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and staff training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an OR nurse; experience in high-acuity surgeries is advantageous.
• Exceptional critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
