We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel position in Havre, MT. This role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment while exploring the beauty of Montana’s Big Sky Country.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist surgeons during operations by providing instruments and supplies as needed.
• Maintain sterile conditions in the operating room and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient status throughout the procedure, including vital signs and anesthesia response.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure seamless workflow and patient care.
• Document all procedures and patient care accurately in accordance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Montana or compact state licensure (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures and techniques.
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: Flexible, based on candidate availability.
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extensions.
• Schedule: Full-time; may include variable shifts, weekends, and on-call requirements.
